A child-friendly congregation

Children do not have to be perfectly still to belong

First Christian Church, Anniston is a child-friendly congregation where children are welcomed as full members of the worshiping community.

We are grateful for the babies, toddlers, children, and youth who are part of our church family. Whether your child is quiet, energetic, curious, shy, disabled, neurodivergent, or simply having a very normal hard morning, they are welcome here.

Families with infants and young children are welcome to use the nursery when available, and children are also welcome to remain in worship. Parents and caregivers may step to the back of the sanctuary, walk with a child, or take a break as needed without feeling like they are disrupting the service.
